LOGOMOTION is played with two alliances that are three robots each. The match begins with the 15-second Autonomous Period in which robots compete by hanging plastic inflatables on their grids independent of their drivers. After the autonomous period , the drivers take their stations and for a 2 minute and 15 second match, hang more tubes. The higher the tubes are hung, the more points are received. Any tube hung on the same peg as an Ubertube receives double points. If all the pieces are arranged to form the FIRST logo, the points for the entire row are doubled. The match ends with the robots deploying minibots onto vertical poles. The minibots are to race to the top of the pole to trigger a sensor and earn additional bonus points.
